Correspondent needed ... exciting opportunity!

 

We are looking for a motivated, news-savvy person to cover events in the Hudson Valley and Catskills, including government meetings, news conferences, ceremonies, and dedications.  Experience preferred, but will train person who shows clear potential.

This an ideal opportunity for students, retired persons, anyone with some free time.    This would involve weekday daytime, evening and weekend assignments.

Responsibilities involve going to events, taking notes, taking pictures, recording sound, doing some face-to-face interviews, then organizing all into a concise and informative news story.

This is a part-time on-call position.  You would be paid per assignment and would not be directly employed by Statewide News Network Inc., or any of its associated websites.
